Lady Hornets Go 0-3 At Queen of the Mountain Duals

The Wellsboro Girls Wrestling team took part of the Queen of the Mountain Duals at Central Mountain on Sunday, December 22.
The team went 0-3 on the afternoon, falling to Hughesville (78-0), Shikellamy (48-6), and Central Mountain (30-18).
Freshman Isla Twoey was the lone Wellsboro wrestler to pick up a win against Shikellamy, as she won via forfeit at 100 lbs.
Against Central Mountain, Twoey (100) and freshman Katie Whitney (136) both scored forfeits while senior Megan Robbins pinned Mallory Wunder in two minutes at 130.
Wellsboro (0-3) is back in action at the Matness at the MACC Tournament at Montgomery on Saturday, January 4.
