Meet The Hornets Returns

On Monday, November 21 at 6:00 p.m., Meet The Hornets returns!
A tradition for many years, Meet The Hornets is an opportunity to introduce Wellsboro's sports teams to families, and the community at large, prior to the start of each season, so that all sports' participants are recognized. The Wellsboro Hornets Sports Booster Club feels that Swarm the Hive has slowly faded away from its original purpose and has become more of a letterman's jacket event. We are bringing back Meet The Hornets to create community and school excitement prior to the start of each upcoming sports season.
Each Varsity coach will introduce their sport and briefly mention their hopes and goals for the upcoming season and then introduce their team. In between each team's introductions, there will be giveaways as well as cheerleading, band, and dance team performances. The Junior High winter teams will also be introduced.
Giveaways will include Hornet Dollars for the concession stand(s), rally towels, and new Wellsboro Athletic t-shirts!
Light refreshments will also be provided afterwards, with each team being assigned an item to bring.
We'll see you at the New High School Gym on November 21 at 6:00 p.m. as we introduce the winter 2022-23 Wellsboro sports teams.
