Covert named to All-Region wrestling team

Senior Owen Covert was named to the Towanda Daily Review's All-Region wrestling team on Wednesday, March 23.
Covert, who led the Hornets with 18 wins on the season, was a third team selection at 285 lbs. During the course of the year Covert recorded 10 pins, 2 decisions, and 1 major decision, and earned a 3rd place finish at Sectionals and a District IV championship birth.
Covert recorded 48 career wins, with 21 coming during his junior season.
