Hornets compete at New Oxford Tournament

The Wellsboro Varsity wrestling team traveled to New Oxford to wrestle on Saturday at came home in 17th place with 52 team points out of 22 teams.
Three Hornets placed on the day. Senoir Chad Daugherty captured 1st place in the 195 lbs. division, Junior Brandon Owlett took home third place in 145 lbs., and Junior Nate Ingerick finished in 5th place in the 126 lbs. bracket.
The Hornets will be back in action this Thursday, January 31 as they travel to Athens.
