Hornet wrestlers compete at St. Marys

The Wellsboro Varsity wrestling team started the 2013 season with a 6th place finish at the St. Marys tournament.
Senior Brandon Owlett took 1st place in his weight class on the day and was named outstanding wrestler of the tournament. Senior Nate Ingerick also had a good day on the mats as he placed 2nd in his weight class.
Sophomore Owen Covert took home 7th in the heavyweight division on the day.
The Hornets will begin their regular season on Thursday, December 19 as they travel to Towanda.
