Hornets fall to Athens and Bucktail

Wellsboro fell to both Athens and Bucktail last night in Wellsboro. The Hornets fell to Athens in a close match 33-30 while Bucktail dropped the Hornets 46-27.
Athens Results
Junior Adam Cleveland, Josh Kennedy, Brandon Owlett, Chad Daugherty, and Eli Kennedy all picked up wins. Cleveland picked up a win by forfeit, Josh Kennedy won by decision, while Owlett, Daugherty, and Eli Kennedy all pinned their opponents.
Bucktail Results
In the Hornets match against Bucktail Nate Ingerick, Brandon Owlett, Nate Harding, Chad Daugherty, and Eli Kennedy all picked up wins. Ingerick pinned Mike Adams in 42 seconds, Owlett won by major decision, Harding won by decision, Daugherty pinned Jarrett Davis, and Eli Kennedy won by forfeit.
The losses bring Wellsboro's overall record to 2-21-1 (0-4 NTL Large School).
