Hornets edge Sayre, 33-30

The Wellsboro Varsity wrestling team picked up their second win of the 2011-12 season last night as they defeated the Sayre Redskins, 33-30. Junior Adam Cleveland won by forfeit at 113 lbs, Sophomore Nate Ingerick pinned his opponent at 126 lbs, Sophomore Nate Harding won by decision at 170 lbs, and Senior Nick Callahan pinned his oppoenet in 21 seconds to bring home the win.
In Middle School action, the Hornets fell to Sayre, 24-18. The team will be back in action Tuesday, January 24 as they travel to Troy.
